Paint Protection Film
There is a lot of misinformation surrounding Paint Protection Film (PPF). PPF is a plastic based film with adhesive backing that is installed on vehicles to protect the raw paint against swirling, rock chips, colour fading and even accidental impacts such as door dings. PPF can also be a means of restyling a vehicle as well, coming in Gloss and Satin Finishes. Lately PPF manufacturing technology as evolved to include coloured PPF and other Fashion Films to help further change the look of a vehicle. Below we have some examples of cars we have completed in all the different finishes of PPF.
2019 Porsche GT3RS
Gloss to Gloss
We were fortunate to work on this beautiful example of a 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3RS. With this project we went all in, every service we offer and disassembled as much of the car as possible. This was completed with Xpel 10mil PPF which provides the best protection for this track machine. Paired with Modesta BC-04 and Exoshield, the owner has complete peace of mind when driving on the street or the track. This spec is the beloved Miami Blue, Racing Yellow PCCB's and Aurum Gold Wheels, it is truly a work of art.
2017 Porsche 911 4s
Gloss to Satin
This customer came to us for the continuation of existing Gloss PPF. The factory colour is Sapphire Blue Metallic and the owner liked it but wanted something more unique. We told him about Matte PPF and how it changes the shiny finish to a satin finish. He was intrigued with the idea and therefore he decided to go with that and it completely transformed the car. Between the Full Car Matte PPF, Tinted Rear Reflectors and Taillights, Installation of OEM Clear Front Reflectors and Installation of Black Porsche Lettering at the rear, it is fair to say that this 911 is very unique. The 911's iconic body styling suits a Matte/Satin finish very well and in addition Porsche does not allow you to order a satin finish colour, therefore giving a very special look to these cars.

2021 BMW M5 CS
Satin to Satin
This Exclusive and Rare M5 came to us in a factory satin colour, Frozen Deep Green. With Factory Satin, Matte or Frozen Colours it is especially important to wrap the vehicle from day one. The satin finish on the clear coat cannot be polished or "buffed out" therefore any small scratches are there to stay and will require repainting to correct them properly. Matte PPF is required to protect these vehicles because if Gloss PPF is used this will distort the finish and make the green appear glossy.
